OK, is anyone freaked out by Rachel's mystery illness that necessitated a trip to the ER and a To Be Continued? Me neither? I'm not totally cold, I just feel like if it was something really crazy, we'd have read about it in the news by now. Anyway, it was interesting to see what could get the workaholic away from work.

I was pretty touched by the interaction between Rachel and Taylor at the end of the episode, when Rachel tells Taylor that she'd give her children to Taylor if anything happened to her. She sounded a little delirious, but it was sweet nonetheless, especially since Tay reciprocated. It was a nice reassurance that despite Taylor's constant complaining, they seem to genuinely like each other at the core.

As for the job at Ashton Kutcher's studio . . . well, I like Ashton but I was desperately bored during the Blahgirls sequence. I know it was supposed to be about showing Rachel on an averagely un-average job, but I wanted more Ashton, less animation. When she got back to styling the Glamour shoot, I was relieved to see her doing what she does best — putting clothes together and telling people what looks good and what doesn't. Though everyone seemed to be annoyed with her control-freakness, you have to give it to Rachel: lady knows what she's doing.

Favorite moment of the episode: Brad taking Jasper to get groomed and then telling him how good he looked when it was over. Taylor was pissed, but does she not know how adorable Jasper is?! She must not, certainly.

So what do you think Rachel's ailment is? My money's ion exhaustion, because it sounds like a good plot point.
